I have loved drawing ever since I was a child; I remember looking forward to a new paint by numbers book every Christmas and spending many hours drawing ballerinas and ladies in long flowing gowns. Art was my favourite subject at school and I was forever doodling when I should have been doing my homework. Ever since, I have had a keen interest in design, which includes window dressings and craft items as well as illustrating.

I have been fortunate enough to combine my hobbies with my professional life, having been an interior designer for over 20 years, albeit a lot is using digital design suites. So, when my son and daughter-in-law approached me about illustrating their wedding venues, my passion and inspiration for fine art drawing was reignited. 

 

I have since been commissioned by other couples and families who had seen the illustrations, at which point I saw the opportunity to develop a business and offer my services to a wider audience.

There's not many buildings more special than where you tie the knot, a first home, a family member or even loved pet and having that memory in the form of a fine art illustration is much more personal than a photograph. So, whether it's a gift or a personal keep sake, you can rest assured that my passion, time and dedication will go into each illustration I do.
