About the illustration
 

I work on a commission only basis and prices are available upon a piece-by-piece basis, dependant on the level of detail, framing and any other specific requests*.

 

My drawing style as standard is clean and contemporary in fine art pencil greyscale. However, you could also have the sky and surroundings picked out in a range of colours, for example, the sky duck-egg blue, the grass a sage green, paths stone or grey and windows cream.

I do not typically include people in the drawings, I can include cars and unique messaging which are not part of the original image for an additional fee. Your illustration will be a hand-drawn pencil sketch, not a computer generated image, so I can add or remove things you don’t want e.g. cars or lamp posts etc. Your final picture would be the view from the photograph or weblink provided (i.e. the same perspective). The illustration will be presented either portrait or landscape, depending on what best suits the image.

The final illustration will be scanned and digitally printed in a graphic, contemporary style on 200gsm fine grain artists paper. I will send you a digital proof prior to final printing. You can also request the original pencil illustration for an additional fee.

Each illustration is presented in a contemporary white frame with grey mount as standard. You can add a personalised printed message and choose your own typeface (script, handwritten or a modern sans-serif) which would be printed over three lines, e.g. 'Rose & Ryan' / St Nicholas Church / 1st July 2016.'

If you want to include two images, I could also illustrate and print both a church and reception venue in a double mounted portrait.frame. 

​

Please note that I require a 4-6 week lead-time for illustration, print, framing and delivery.

Once you've confirmed the order, you can email a photo to kayarmstrong06@hotmail.co.uk or I can work from an image on a website - simple email me the link.

Standard: 53 x 43cm (21" x 17") with an approx. image size of 40 x 30cm (15.5 x 11.5")

Large: 70 x 50cm (25.5" x 19.5") with an approx. image size of 53.5 x 35.5cm (21" x 14")
